 Goldieblox has brought Scott Peterson aboard to develop a new series called "Goldieblox and the Gearheads." It is a funny character-driven comedy for kids that promotes the idea of STEM for girls and shows that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

 Congratulations again to the cast and crew and everyone else involved in the Emmy winning Netflix show “The Last Kids on Earth.” I’m so proud of all that we accomplished.
 We’re excited to announce The Last Kids on Earth won four Leo Awards for the British Columbia film and television industry!
• Best Animation Program or series • Best Direction - Will Lau • Best Art Direction - Alexia Tryfon • Beat Musical Score - Marcelo Trevino  In a star-studded ceremony on Sunday, August 26th, The Last Kids on Earth was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Special Class Animated Program. Scott Peterson, the show's executive producer, accepted the award on behalf of the cast and crew. Children around the world wept with joy.
 The Last Kids on Earth was nominated for Outstanding Special Class Animated Program by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This followed closely on the heels of six nominations for Leo Awards in British Columbia, honoring Program, Direction, Art Direction, Sound, Musical Score, and Vocal Performance.

It started out going in many different directions. I did a series of drawings of them responding to their environment. I find that when I add something for the characters to react to it helps me flesh out the personalities. This is the fun part for me developing characters with a mini storyline.
